Overall, 150 or more runs have been scored 13 times in T20 cricket. Chris Gayle, Aaron Finch and Brendon McCullum have done this 2-2 times.
Playing as an opener for the Melbourne Stars, Maxwell batted fast from the beginning, thrashing the Hobart Hurricanes bowlers and hitting spectacular shots on the field. He scored an unbeaten 154 off 64 balls. This included 22 fours and 4 sixes.
